2011 ~ Thank you

So it is 2 weeks into the new year and we figured it was about time we got caught up on some blog posts. 2011 was an exciting and rewarding year for us, but boy were we busy! We are both so proud and honored to have been included in so many monumental occasions in our clients lives. Casey & Thomas ~ Occasions Magazine

We are excited to finally share with you Casey & Thomas’s sweet spring affair, currently featured in Occasions Magazine. Casey & Thomas were married in May in a church ceremony followed by a southern reception at Primrose Cottage. Florals by Boukates, stationary by Momental Designs, custom favors by Emily G’s and the brides creative DIY skills, made Casey & Thomas’s wedding an event even Martha Stewart would be proud of. We will be sharing this event more in detail later this month, stay tuned!

Heidi & Mark ~ Married

Heidi & Mark were married October 8th at a family farm in North Georgia. Sarah was in heaven photographing this southern affair, complete with golden sunshine & details galore! You can get a glimpse at all the sweetness at: www.christinegallagher.net/Heidi&Mark but stay tuned as I am sure we will be sharing more from this gorgeous wedding soon!

Brandy & John ~ Married

Brandy & John were married October 1st at Christ the King, with a reception that followed at Magnolia Hall. I have been photographing weddings for over 12 years and I can honestly say that they had more people on the dance floor at their wedding, then I have EVER seen! It was one fabulous party (and carmel apples to boot). If you’d like to view more images from this event, please visit: www.christinegallagher.net/Brandy&John

Valorie & Matt ~ Married

Valorie & Matt hosted a casual & colorful wedding, at a vineyard in S.C. with 60 family & friends, along with her two sons and Matt’s dog. It is one of the most colorful weddings we have photographed to date. Sarah had a great time capturing not only the beginning of a new family together but also all the details Valorie had picked out. While I’d love to share more with you… but we have to hold off for just a bit, stay tuned!

Until we can share more, I couldn’t resist showing you this adorable wedding cake by Buttercream Bake House!

Susannah & Will ~ Married

Susannah & Will’s wedding is proof that there is nothing boring about a traditional wedding! You don’t have to get married on a farm or in a garden to have a beautiful affair. With the help of Jackson|Durham, Susannah & Will’s church wedding & Capital City Club reception was a flawless event. And yes… those are some crazy, amazingly colorful florals!

Oh Baby!

A new baby is like the beginning of all things – wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities.

Casey’s Bridal Portrait

A formal bridal portrait doesn’t have to be the old school stuffy picture made in a studio and hung over your parents fireplace. What it can be is a chance to get dressed up in your wedding attire and have some fun. Bridal sessions allow us the time to capture beautiful images in a relaxed setting, that is not possible on your actual wedding day. There is no timelines to rush you, no bridesmaids to stress you… just you and the camera in picture perfect scenery. Here is a glance at Casey’s Bridal Session photographed at my new favorite venue, Vinewood.

Casey was a very classically styled bride on her wedding day, think Jackie O… But for her bridal, we wanted to mix it up a little and show her outgoing and colorful side. I don’t know which look is my favorite, she looks amazing in both! I’d love to hear which is your favorite, leave us a comment below! ~ Christine
