Marla & Jeff ~ Married

I truly believe that Old Edwards Inn couldn’t produce anything less then a beautiful wedding! Marla & Jeff’s was no exception, it was simply stunning! I loved the playful, orange color palette mixed with the rustic feel of the farmhouse.  AND…only in the Mountains of N.C. can you experience two roaring fireplaces on a July evening! Congrats Marla & Jeff, documenting the warmth & love  between the two of you reminded me why I adore my job so much.

Abby & Andy ~ Married!

Here is a Friday treat, a peek at Abby & Andy’s Wyoming Wedding images.

More to come on Monday.

Kate & Patrick ~ Married

When Kate originally contacted me, they were planning a large wedding here in Atlanta with friends & family coming from all over the country. Realizing the “work” it would be, Kate & Patrick elected to have a private ceremony here in Atlanta with just their closest family, 10 guests to be exact. Then they would celebrate in Seattle & New York with friends in the weeks that followed. Kate referred to it as her wedding month rather then wedding day! After the sweet and intimate ceremony, we headed to a nearby park for portraits of the Bride& Groom, before heading to a private dinner at Bacchanalia. The relaxed environment made time for the sweetest of pictures, a photographers dream come true!

Cristina & Ross ~ Married

Last weekend, Sarah & Casey traveled up to Montaluce to photograph Cristina & Ross’s intimate brunch wedding. Being the least bit traditional, Cristina didn’t want the big engagement ring, a wedding party or even to the walk down the aisle!  What she did have, is exactly what she wanted…a laid back, casual affair with her closest family & friends.  Congrats Cristina & Ross, Sarah and Casey adored you both!

Jaime & Grant ~ Married

We are running WAY behind on wedding posts this year, please excuse us. To make up for it, here is a peek of Jaime & Grant’s Lake Lanier wedding! We just love the vibrant colors Jaime selected & Katie with Boukates did a striking job with the florals. Jaime put so much thought into all the details from custom designing her own stationary to the handmade wedding sign that welcomed guests. Congrats Jaime & Grant, your wedding was a blast to photograph.

Jamie & Jake ~ Engaged

Jamie & Jake are getting married in November in North Georgia, in her home town. For their engagement session, they wanted to venture to Southern Georgia where he is from in Albany. It was quiet the drive, but the groom’s family property titled “Mossy Oaks” was the perfect back drop for an engagement session. Braving 90 degree weather and more bugs then even the bravest southern girl can handle, the scenery was beautiful and the sunset was the perfect golden hue. Congrats you two on the engagement & we look forward to the wedding in November (and the cool mountain air).

Shannon & Chas ~ Engaged

As a photographer, sometimes the sky can open up and give us the most amazing light to work it. Of course eyes like Shannon’s don’t hurt either! Shannon & Chas met up with Christine in Virginia Highlands for their engagement session, Chas was such a trooper given he had to miss the  Masters Finals for the shoot! It was a perfect day, for both the engagement session and for Charl Schwartzel.

Shelley & Justin ~ At First Sight

Seeing one another before the ceremony is not for everyone… and we understand and respect that. For those who do, it offers a chance to share an intimate moment together alone on your wedding day. Shelley & Justin were married April 16th at King Plow Arts Center, here is a glimpse from their “at first sight” moment.
