As a photographer, people assume that all my vacation photos will be amazing, but truth be told, I often only travel with a point & shoot camera! As an attempt to break that mold, I traveled to California last week with my husband for a photo retreat and yes, I took a “real” camera! It was a nice break from the norm and I had a grand time, but in the end ~ I prefer to photograph people!

Mary Katherine & Hutch ~ Married!

Mary Katherine & Hutch were married last August, at his parent’s home on Lake Hartwell. It was a sweet southern affair, complete with peaches from the bride’s family farm and a praline station courtesy of Epting Events, YUM!

A New Year’s Eve Love Story

Dressed as an angel & celebrating New Year’s Eve in New Orleans, Emily met JC. Both were in College, one here in Georgia and the other in Virginia. The two began a long distance love affair and after a few years, it became apparent that love at first sight is not just for fairy tales. 3 years ago, on New Years Eve, they became man & wife. Happy Anniversary to you both & Happy New Year Eve to everyone!

As Kelly awaits the arrival of her baby girl, memories of my sweet little ones come to mind. When you are with child, it seems to last for eternity but it actually passes with the blink of a eye. You can not wait to have the little one arrive and yet, you will spend the rest of your life longing for such a warm and sweet place to protect them. Congrats Kelly & Russ and I can not wait to meet her!

A baby is something you carry inside of you for nine months, in your arms for three years and in your heart until the day you die.

From the moment I met Bethany & Ryan, I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding! They are such a down to earth couple and they had a beautiful vision of a natural and fun wedding day. With the help of Lee Epting Events & some amazing light, this wedding was delightful! And I can not forgot to mention that Bethany & Ryan indulged all the guests with Epting famous Praline station, can you say… yummy! Congrats you guys and best wishes for a long & happy marriage.
