Below are some frequently asked questions regarding wedding photography, followed by some general definitions to help you decipher photo lingo.

Q. How would you describe your style of photography?

A.  As a photographer, I feel a wedding is best covered using a blend of traditional photography with a photojournalistic approach. Although posed portraits are an essential part of the wedding day, my focus is more editorial. From capturing the details that shaped the day to the moments that will be treasured for years to come.

Q. Do you shoot digital or film? Do you offer black & white images?

A. Film? What is that? I am 100% digital. All images are captured in high resolution color and can be changed to black & white in the post production phase.

Q.  Do you work alone or with an associate?

A.  Yes, unless other wise contracted, I work with an associate and sometimes two. This depends on the size of the event.

Q.  What type of equipment do you use & do you have back-up equipment?

A. I use Canon professional cameras with canon prime lenses. I absolutely have back up and back up for the my back-up.

Q. What happens if you are sick and can not make it our wedding, do you have a back-up plan?

A.  In my 10 year career I have never missed an event, it would require a near death emergency for me to not be there. With that being said, I network with over a dozen very talented photographers who work together to support one another should such an occasion happen.

Q. Do you include the negatives or digital files in your package?*

A. Depending on the package, I do offer the digital files to my clients.

Q. Do you shoot more then one wedding a weekend?

A. We take on a limited amount of commissions per year and rarely do more then one a weekend. A common scenario would be a Friday & Sunday event with Saturday off in the middle.

Q. Can you hold our wedding date?

A. Due to the limited number of books we can take a year, a date can not be held without a binding contract.
