Mariko & Travis were married over Memorial Day weekend at Serenbe. If you have read anything I have posted about Serenbe before, you already know it is one of my top 3 venues and well, it is also where my husband and I got married 6 years ago. Given that fact alone, I am overly sentimental every time I have the honor of photographing an event there. It is a place where, as a husband & wife, Mari & Travis can visit time & time again and relive the moment when they became man & wife. Okay, enough sappy stuff… Mari’s soft ivory & pastel color palette was sweet & made for the perfect southern affair, complete with lemonade and plaid bow ties. Here is just a peek at their wedding images and I can’t wait to post more. Of course I couldn’t resist posting the last image, the bridesmaids decided to go for a swim, dresses & all at the end of the evening. THAT is something you don’t get to see at every wedding!
