Youth is when you’re allowed to stay up late on New Year’s Eve. Middle age is when you’re forced to. ~Bill Vaughn
2012 was the first year I ever made a resolution and stuck to it, my resolution was to always replace the toilet paper roll. Not the most compelling resolution, but I am proud of myself none the less! I haven’t decided on what 2013’s resolution will be, or even if I should try to rival such an accomplishment as always replacing the TP roll.
These days, staying awake long enough to see the ball drop is something to celebrate. My kids however, anticipate this day all year. It is after all, the ONLY night of the year, that they can stay up until midnight! Don’t you remember how exciting that was when you were a kid? They love all the crazy hats, confetti & noise makers! And the kids, well they have the ability to make even me see the value in spending $20 at party city!
May 2013 be funfetti worthy for all of us! Happy New Year!
